The Firebrand from Joyos Bantamp series is a very compact and portable 20 Watt head and is tuned for Modern Metal and Djent Music. Although, like all bantamp, it also has a great clean tone that can take pedals very well making it a versatile all around hybrid tube amp.
The Firebrand has a nice chunky tone with good note definition. It cleans up very nicely when you roll off the volume knob. Great tone on this amp!
The amp operates with a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp and uses a solid state power amp
